November is a good time to ask what really matters.
As the holiday season approaches, we’re excited about what November can bring. It’s a chance to look at our lives, think about what we want to change, and be more intentional with the people we love. Our new Sunday series, Legacy Code, will help us do just that.
November 1 to 22, 2026 | Sundays at 10:30 AM | First Christian Church of Allen
Our November invitation
A four-week series about the life you are building
The holidays have a way of reminding us what matters. Between work, family, bills, and everyday obligations, it’s easy to lose sight of where our choices are taking us.
What are we passing on to the people around us? Can we change patterns we don’t want to repeat? How can faith shape the lives we’re actually living?
That’s what Legacy Code is about. It’s a four-week November message series at First Christian Church of Allen. You don’t need a perfect family, a church background, or all the answers to join the conversation. What you live becomes what you leave.
What are the four November messages?
Every Sunday starts with a question worth considering, whether you’re part of a church or just curious about faith.
NOVEMBER 1
Am I Wasting My Life?
When every day is busy, how do we know whether we are living for what matters?
NOVEMBER 8
What Am I Passing On?
The habits and attitudes we pass to family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors.
NOVEMBER 15
What Does My Money Say About Me?
What do our financial choices reveal about what we fear, trust, and value?
NOVEMBER 22
Will My Family Be Better Because of Me?
How can the people closest to us experience more love, care, and hope?

Questions about purpose, family, and faith in Allen, TX
Maybe you’re not looking for a sermon series. You’re trying to figure out something happening in your own life. Here are a few places to start.
How do I find purpose in life when every day feels the same?
Start by noticing what your ordinary choices are building. Who receives your attention? What habits are shaping you? What would you like to change by next November? A meaningful life is not always a dramatic life. On November 1 in Allen, we begin with the question, “Am I Wasting My Life?”
How can I stop passing unhealthy family patterns on to my kids?
Name one pattern you want to change, whether it is angry reactions, silence during conflict, or avoiding difficult conversations. Practice a different response and ask trusted people for support. Counseling can help with deeply rooted patterns. Our November 8 message, “What Am I Passing On?”, explores how influence can change.
Where can I find help strengthening family relationships near Allen, TX?
Start with a few repeatable habits: listen without interrupting, apologize when you get it wrong, and make room for time together. If you want to work through these questions with a local faith community, you are welcome at First Christian Church of Allen. On November 22 we are asking, “Will My Family Be Better Because of Me?”
How can I be more intentional with my money and values?
Look at what your recent spending, saving, and giving reveal about what matters to you. Do those choices point where you want your life to go? On November 15 our Legacy Code message asks, “What Does My Money Say About Me?” We also have a free financial education evening on November 12 with professionals from Thrivent.
How do I pass my faith on without forcing it on my family?
Let your family see your faith in ordinary choices. Make room for questions. Apologize when you are wrong. Be willing to say you are still learning. Our free Legacy Code Workbook has reflection questions on faith, character, generosity, and relationships.
Is there a church in Allen where I can ask honest questions about life and faith?
Yes. Whether you are curious, skeptical, returning after a long time, or visiting for the first time, you are welcome at FCC Allen. Legacy Code meets Sundays, November 1, 8, 15, and 22 at 10:30 AM, 1207 Twin Creeks Dr., Allen, TX. Neighbors from Plano, McKinney, and nearby communities are welcome too.
Want to see what a visit is like? Plan your first Sunday at FCC Allen.
Another November opportunity | Thursday, November 12
Are you making the most of your money?
We’re also hosting a free financial education evening at FCC Allen with financial-planning professionals from Thrivent. Bring your questions about goals, financial decisions, and preparing for the unexpected. It’s meant to be practical help, not a fundraising event.

A personal invitation from Pastor Chris
You’ve got questions. That’s a good place to start.
Whether Legacy Code brings up questions about faith, family, or the direction your life is going, I’d love for you to join the conversation. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you walk through the door.
If you’ve got a question before you come, send me a text. You can ask about the series, visiting, or something you’re wrestling with.
Pastor Chris Fluitt
